RESUMEN
Se presentan los resultados de una encuesta realizada a los pobladores de 7 localidades de la provincia de Pinar del Río, la cual permitió establecer el uso tradicional de 112 plantas medicinales, que son empleadas en 27 afecciones diferentes. Se relacionan los nombres científicos de cada especie, su agrupación en familia, su representabilidad taxonómica, así como las propiedades que les son atribuidas en la zona de estudio. Los resultados concuerdan parcialmente con los obtenidos por otros investigadores en diferentes zonas del país.
ABSTRACT
The results of a survey carried out among the inhabitants from 7 localities in the province of Pinar del Rio that allowed to establish the traditional use of 112 medicinal plants, which are used in 27 different affectations, are presented. The scientific names of each species, their family grouping, their taxonomic representativity, as well as the properties that are attributed to them according to the zone under study, are given. The results agree partially with those obtained by other investigators in different zones of the country.
