RESUMEN
Se realizó un estudio con 15 ratones, subdivididos en 3 grupos de 5; el control que se mantuvo en condiciones normales y 2 experimentales a los cuales se les sometió a estrés por hambre y por frío para valorar la afectación de los leucocitos. A los animales se les extrajo sangre al inicio y al final de cada experimento para realizar los leucogramas y se apreció que al final del estudio en los grupos experimentales se afectó significativamente la población leucocitaria, sobre todo los linfocitos.
ABSTRACT
A study was conducted with 15 mice, which were subdivided into 3 groups of 5 each. The control group, that was maintained under normal conditions, and 2 experimental groups that were subjected to stress caused by hunger and cold, to evaluate the leukocytes’ affection. Blood samples were taken from the animals at the beginning and at the end of every experiment to perform white blood cell counts. At the end of the study, it was observed that the leukocytic populations, mainly the lymphocytes, were significantly affected.
