Nivel del Síndrome de Burnout en las enfermeras del Hospital San José del Callao 2010 / Level of syndrome of Burnout in the nurses of the Hospital San Jose of the Callao 2010

RESUMEN

El objetivo fue determinar el nivel del síndrome del Burnout en las enfermeras del Hospital San José del Callao. Material y Método fué de nivel aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo, de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 50 enfermeras del Hospital San José del Callao. La Técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el Inventario del Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Del 100 por ciento (50); 56 por ciento (28) presentan nivel medio y 44 por ciento (22) presentan un nivel bajo. En la dimensión de cansancio emocional 80 por ciento (40) presentan nivel bajo ,14 por ciento (7) medio y 6 por ciento (3) alto. En la dimensión de despersonalización 84 por ciento (42) presenta nivel bajo,16 por ciento (8) medio .En la dimensión de Realización Personal 52 por ciento (26) presentan nivel alto,36 por ciento (18) medio y12 por ciento (6) bajo. Conclusiones: Un porcentaje considerable tiene un nivel de síndrome del Burnout medio seguido de bajo referido a que se sienten cansados al final de la jornada del trabajo, creen que están trabajando demasiado ,sienten que los pacientes los culpan por algunos de sus problemas ,se sienten fatigados cuando se levantan por la mañana y tienen que ir a trabajar .En la dimensión de cansancio emocional y despersonalización la mayoría tienen un nivel bajo a medio referido a que se sienten emocionalmente agotados por su trabajo, sienten que trabajar todo el día con mucha gente es un esfuerzo, se sienten quemados por su trabajo, se sienten frustrado por su trabajo , sienten que trabajar directamente con personas le producen estrés, sienten que tratan a algunos de sus pacientes como si fueran objetos impersonales ,sienten que se han vuelto más insensible con la gente desde ejercen su profesión, se preocupan que este trabajo los endurezca emocionalmente ,sienten que los pacientes los culpan por algunos de sus problemas y en la dimensión de realización personal un porcentaje considerable tienen un nivel de alto a medio referido a que comprenden fácilmente como se sienten sus pacientes, sienten que tratan muy eficaz los problemas de sus pacientes.

ABSTRACT

The objective was to determine the level of burnout syndrome in nurses of the Hospital San José del Callao. Material and Methods was level application, quantitative, descriptive, cross sectional study. The population consisted of 50 nurses from the Hospital San José del Callao. Technique was the survey and the instrument, the Maslach Burnout Inventory Inventory (MBI). 100 per cent (50), 56 per cent (28) presents average and 44 per cent (22) have a low leve!. In the dimension of emotional exhaustion 80 per cent (40) have low, 14 per cent (7) medium and 6 per cent (3) high. In the dimension of depersonalization 84 per cent (42) presents a low level, 16 per cent (8) medium. In the dimension of personal accomplishment 52 per cent (26) have high, 6 per cent (18) half and 12 per cent (6) low. Conclusions: A significant percentage has a level of Burnout syndrome in half followed by referral to feel ti red at the end of the day's work, believe they are working too hard, patients feel that the blame for so me of its problems, they feel tired when getting up in the morning 'and have to go to work. In the dimension of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization most have a low to medium referred to feel emotionally exhausted by their work, feel that working all day with many people is an effort, they feel burned by their work, they feel frustrated for their work ,feel that working directly with people you lead to stress, feel that they treat were some of his patients as if they were impersonal objects ,they feel they have become insensitive to people from exercising their profession ,are concerned that the work emotionally, they feel patients blame them for some of their problems and the personal accomplishment dimension of a significant percentage have a high level in the medium referred to easily understand how they feel their patients feel they are treated very effectively problems of their patients.
