Familiarización de los directivos de enfermería con las investigaciones en sistemas y servicios de salud / Familiarization of the nursing managers with the health system and service research

RESUMEN

La sensibilización de los directivos con la realización de las investigaciones en sistemas y servicios de salud (ISSS) contribuye a la implementación y utilización de sus resultados para la toma de decisiones. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo para identificar el nivel de familiarización de los directivos de enfermería de los Institutos de Investigación de la capital en relación a las ISSS. Para su realización se aplicó una encuesta en la que se exploraron las variables conocimientos sobre las ISSS, realización de proyectos de investigación que aborden sus líneas, divulgación de resultados, toma de decisiones y puesta en práctica de los mencionados resultados. Los resultados evidenciaron el predominio de la investigación clínica en estos centros, así como la escasa familiarización de los directivos de enfermería con las ISSS para la toma de decisiones, aspecto que pudiera estar influyendo en los bajos porcientos de estos tipos de estudios en dichas instituciones(AU)

ABSTRACT

The familiarization of the managers with the conduction of research studies on health systems and services contributes to implement and use their results for decision-making. A descriptive study was carried out to identify to which extent the nursing managers at the research institutes of the capital of the country are familiarized with the health systems and services research. To this end, a survey was administered, which included the following variables knowledge on health system and service research, conduction of research projects dealing with these topics, dissemination of results, decision-making and implementation of the said results. The results of the present study showed the predominance of the clinical research in these centers, as well as the poor familiarization of nursing managers there with the health system and service research, with a view to making their decisions. It is possible that this element is having an effect on the low percentages of these types of studies in the above-mentioned institutions(AU)
