Aspectos éticos e legais da Odontologia do Trabalho / Legal and ethical aspects of occupational dentistry

RESUMO

A Odontologia do Trabalho, uma nova área de especialidade na Odontologia, tem por finalidade a melhoria da saúde bucal, de seus efeitos e influência sobre a produtividade do trabalho, bem como o diagnóstico precoce de manifestações de doenças ocupacionais. Este trabalho teve como objetivo descrever os aspectos éticos e legais dessa especialidade. O profissional dessa especialidade deve estar consciente do trabalho que desenvolve e da importância de sua inserção nas equipes de saúde ocupacional nas empresas.

ABSTRACT

Occupational Dentistry, a new of specialization in Dentistry, has for purpose the improvement of oral health, and its effect and influence on the productivity of the work, as well as the precocious diagnosis of manifestations of occupational illnesses. The aim of this study was described the legal and ethical aspects of this specialization. The professional of this specialization have to be conscientious of the work that develop and the importance of its insertion in the teams of occupational health in companies.
