RESUMO
Nos anos de 1970, em virtude da crise que se instalara no setor saúde, iniciaram as discussões que centravam na assistência primária o ponto básico para melhoria dos níveis de saúde, sob o discurso dos atores do Movimento da Reforma Sanitária. Objetivo: Analisar a produção sobre a Medicina preventiva divulgada nos Anais dos Congressos Brasileiros de Enfermagem, período de 1977-1980. Metodologia: estudo histórico-social, embasado na análise documental e temática. Utilizou como referenciais teóricos os conceitos de Sérgio Arouca e Maria Cecília Puntel de Almeida. Corpus documental: Anais dos Congressos Brasileiros de Enfermagem (1977-1980). Resultados e Discussão: o ideário da Medicina preventiva corporificado na produção científica de Enfermagem evidenciou uma necessidade de reorientação de suas práticas para ações primárias em saúde. Conclusão: a Enfermagem que adentrou os anos de 1980 assistiu à emergência de seus integrantes como sujeitos políticos, engajados na luta pela reforma sanitária e comprometidos com o campo social.
ABSTRACT
In the 1970, because of the crisis that was established in the health sector, initiated the discussions that focused on primary care, the basic point to improving levels of health, under the discourse of the actors of the Sanitary Reform Movement. Objective: To analyze the output on Preventive Medicine published in the Annals of the Brazilian Nursing, period 1977-1980. Methods: The social-historical, based on documentary analysis and thematic. Used as theoretical concepts of Sergio Arouca and Maria Cecilia Puntel de Almeida. Corpus documental: Annals of the Brazilian Nursing (1977-1980). Results and Discussion: The ideal of preventive medicine embodied in nursing scientific production showed a need for reorientation of its practices and actions in primary health care. Conclusion: Nursing who entered the 1980's saw the emergence of its members as political subjects, engaged in the fight for health reform and committed to the social field.
