RESUMEN

El presente trabajo, titulado, Salud en el trabajo se realizó mediante una revisión teórica, para lo cual se hizo una selección, organización, sistematización y análisis de un acervo de documentos electrónicos y textos que comprendieran este tema. Hoy las organizaciones dan un importante lugar a sus colaboradores, puesto que ellos son fuente de ventaja competitiva, un medio para lograrlo es el mantenimiento de óptimos niveles de salud; el desafío es promover organizaciones saludables que generen bienestar y calidad de vida laboral. Desde esa perspectiva, se muestra la importancia de la salud en el trabajo y en la productividad de la organización, se abordan además los conceptos de ser humano en la organización, promoción de la salud y en el lugar de trabajo, legislación en salud laboral, rol del psicólogo organizacional desde la Psicología de la salud ocupacional PSO, riesgo psicosocial e instrumentos que evalúan el riesgo psicosocial.

ABSTRACT

The present work called Health at work was carried out through a theoretical review. A selection, organization, systematization and analysis of a collection of electronic documents and texts to understand this topic was made. Nowadays, organizations give an important place to their employees, since they are a source of competitive advantage. A means to achieve this is to maintain optimal levels of health; the challenge is to promote healthy organizations that generate welfare and quality of working life. From that outlook, the importance of occupational health and productivity of the organization are shown, the concepts of human being in the organization and health promotion in the workplace, occupational health legislation are addressed, and also the role of organizational psychologist from the Psychology PSO occupational health and psychosocial risk instruments that assess psychosocial risk are approached.
