RESUMEN
Objetivo. Revisar la adecuación de los documentos de consentimiento informado (DCI) de los hospitales públicos de Lima Metropolitana a las normativas vigentes en el país. Material y métodos. Se revisó 20 DCI de ocho hospitales del Ministerio de Salud y ocho hospitales de Essalud, de Lima Metropolitana, confrontándose con la Norma para la gestión de la Historia Clínica vigente en el país. Resultados. de los DCI revisados, 70% estuvieron conformes, en 100%, a lo prescrito por la norma. Todos los documentos revisados contenían la información esencial requerida en el formato de consentimiento informado de la norma. Conclusión. La adecuación de los documentos de consentimiento informado de los hospitales públicos de Lima Metropolitana a la norma vigente fue buena.
ABSTRACT
Objective. To review the adequacy of the documents of informed consent of public hospitals in Metropolitan Lima to the Peruvian current regulations. Material and methods. Twenty documents for informed consent from 8 hospitals of the Ministry of Health and 8 hospitals of Essalud, of Metropolitan Lima, were revised and checked with the current rule for the management of the clinical chart. Results. Seventy per cent of the revised informed consent documents agreed, in a 100%, as it is prescribed by the standart format. All the revised documents contained the essential information required in the standart informes consent forms. Conclusion The adequacy of documents of informed consent of public hospitals in metropolitan Lima to the existing standart for the management of the clinical chart was good.
