RESUMO

O artigo busca fazer um retrospecto histórico - evolutivo da psicoterapia de grupo, desde suas origens. Os conceitos apresentados procuram delineara algumas das principais contribuições dos diversos autores que de alguma forma construíram o referencial teórico da psicoterapia de grupo. A autora faz uma reflexão dos princípios teóricos existentes, contextualizando-os à contemporaneidade. Ressalta a importância do trabalho principalmente no que se refere à construção de modelos de atendimento que levem ao estabelicimento de vínculos mais saúdaveis e fortes, contrapondo-se aos laços superficiais e efêmeros que caracterizam nosso contexto social.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this article is to make an evolutionary and historical retrospection of group therapy, from is origins up to the present time. From the concepts presented, it is intended to outline some of the main contributions made by different authors who have take part in the construction of the literature review of group therapy. The author of the present work reflects on the existin theoretical principles from a contemporary perspective. The importance of work, mainly in relation to the creation of consultation models aimed at establishing healthier and stronger bonds opposed to the superficial and ephemeral ones, which are common in our social context, is emphasized.
