Quando hão há pensamento: o que a psicoterapia de orientação analítica pode fazer por pessoas com transtorno ou organização borderline? / When there is no thought: what can the analytical psychotherapy do for people with borderline disorder or organization?

RESUMO

Pacientes com perturbações na capacidade de pensar têm se tornado cada vez mais frequentes em consultórios psicoterápicos. Pacientes borderline, com sua baixa capacidade de tolerância à frustração, condutas impulsivas e um sofrimento percebido como sem sentido desafiam o terapeuta a adaptar a técnica padrão, e a buscar embasamento teórico que o orientem a uma melhor compreensão e a um atendimento mais efetivo com tipo de pacientes. Este trabalho apresenta uma breve revisão bibliográfica, e ilustração com material clínico de um caso, em que os resultados aparecem de forma lenta, mas significativa.

ABSTRACT

Patients with disruptions in their ability to think have become more and more common in the psychotherapy offices. Borderline patients, with their low frustation tolerance, impulsive conducts and suffering perceived as meaningless, challenge therapists to adapt the standard technique, and to search for a theoretical basis to lead them to a better understanding and a more effective treatment to this kind of patients. In this paper, I have done a brief bibliographic review, presenting clinical material from a patient a patient with slow but significant results.
