O cheiro da identidade: lendo O Perfume / The smell of identity: reading The Perfume

RESUMO

A autora objetiva, com este trabalho, realizar um leitura psicodinamicamente embasada da obra O Perfume, de Patrick Süskind, utilizando seu personagem principal para evocar diferentes vértices teóricos da psicanálise, em busca de possíveis modos de compreender seu desenvolvimento psíquico, e como este o impulsionou a ser um assassino, partindo da privação materna que vivenciou. Crê que este exercício seja similar ao esforço feito pelo terapeuta em busca da compreensão de seu paciente.

ABSTRACT

The author aims to perform a psychodinamically oriented reading of the work The Perfume, from Patrick Süskind, using the main character to evocate different theoritical vortexes of psychoanalysis and searching for possible ways to understand his pyschic development and how it pushed him into being a murderer, starting from the maternal deprivation experienced by him. The author believes that this exercise is similar to the effort made by the therapist when seeking to understand his/her patient.
