Características de la construcción del vínculo afectivo de pareja en la juventud en la ciudad de Medellín / Characteristics of the construction of couple's affective bonds in youth people in Medellín city

RESUMEN

Con el fin de comprender las características de los vínculos afectivos de pareja en la juventud en la ciudad de Medellín, se realizaron entrevistas a profundidad a cuatro hombres y a cuatro mujeres, dos de cada sexo tenían edades comprendidas entre los 18 y 26 años y tenían un vínculo afectivo de pareja al finalizar la primera década del siglo XXI, y la misma proporción, edades comprendidas entre los 35 y los 50 años y tuvieron un vínculo afectivo de pareja en la década de los 80, durante su juventud. Así mismo, se realizaron grupos focales abiertos en los que participaron en su gran mayoría mujeres jóvenes. El modelo de investigación comprensiva y la lectura de la realidad desde un método fenomenológico hermenéutico dejó al descubierto las características, vivencias y roles de género que asume cada hombre y mujer al momento de construir un vinculo afectivo de pareja y cómo las condiciones sociales y el período histórico en el que se estructura el mismo inciden en la expresión de sus características vinculares. Los comportamientos de los más jóvenes en torno a estos vínculos han cambiado en su forma, intensidad y significación, con respecto, a los de los adultos, no obstante, se mantienen algunas ideas en relación a las características esperadas y deseadas en los roles masculino y femenino en el vínculo afectivo de pareja.

ABSTRACT

With the purpose of the couple affective bonds understanding in the youth of Medellin city, we conducted, under the approach of qualitative research, an interview to four men and four women was carried out, in which two men and two women whose ages where between 18 and 26 years old, and have lived or are currently living an affective bond during the end of the first decade of the XXI century. The other two men and two women were between 35 and 50, who had a affective bonds during the 80’s decade when they were young. The research was supported with open focal groups where most of the participants were young women, with a minimum men participation. The model of comprehensive research and the understanding of the reality from a hermeneutical phenomenology perspective revealed the features, experiences and roles assumed by each man and woman at the moment of constructing the couple affective bonds.It also showed how the social conditions and the historical moment in where the affective bond takes place, affects, itself, its expression and its features. The youngsters behavior of the first decade of the XXI century, regarding their couple affective bonds in comparison with previous decades have changed it´s way, it´s intensity and it´s meaning, but some ideas regarding the expected and desired features in masculine and feminine roles are still kept.
