Esporte e inclusão social: estudo de caso de uma equipe de alto nível de futsal / Sports and social inclusion: case study in a futsal high performance team

RESUMO

Introdução: Os projetos esportivos sociais no Brasil têm sido utilizados como complementares ao processo educacional, fato que dá relevância para os estudos que envolvam a educação física, o tempo livre, a competição esportiva e educação de crianças e adolescentes. Objetivo: O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar a percepção dos pais e responsáveis sobre a entrada e permanência dos seus filhos em escolhinhas esportivas localizadas nas comunidades da Maré. Métodos: Como metodologia de pesquisa utilizamos um questionário com 10 perguntas, sendo nove delas do tipo fechada e apenas uma do tipo aberta. Nossa amostra, intencional, se concentrou nos responsáveis desses alunos. Resultados: Em nossa discussão dos resultados encontramos três eixos que surgiram na coleta de dados, a saber a) a influência na entrada e permanência no projeto; b) as expectativas geradas; c) as mudanças no comportamento adquiridas pela frequência desses alunos. Conclusão: demonstramos a relevância de compreender como se dá o processo de seleção de talentos nestes projetos esportivos sociais. Analisar como as competições esportivas nestes ambientes são importantes para a entrada e adesão do alunos matriculados e como elas modificam não só as vidas dos alunos-atletas, mas também as vidas de seus parentes e responsáveis.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The sports projects in Brazil have been used as key to help children in their educational skills. So, the importance of physical education, competitive sport classes and education cannot be reduced as a regular class. Objective: This research aims to analyze the perception of children relatives about the entrance and permanence of young futsal players in a poor area of City of Rio de Janeiro. Methods: the methodology included a questionnaire with 10 questions. Nine of them were kind of mark by the respondents, and only one are free to answer. We chose the parents of those students, mainly because they take response of those children and teenagers, such us bring them to these classes. Result: Results raised three topics a) the influence on entry and stay in the project; b) the expectations and changes in behavior; c) the possibilities of being wealthy person. Conclusion: it was demonstrated the relevance of understanding the selection process of these talents in sports projects of social aim. We also analyze how the sports competitions in these environments are important for cooptation and adhesion of students enrolled and, in addition, we analyze how this process induce changes not only the lives of student-athletes, but also the lives of their relatives and guardians.
