ABSTRACT
As indicated in the title of this article, my argument is as follows in the psychic constitution of the subject, the psychic and social dimensions are inextricably linked according to my reading and those of other Freudian authors, based on Freuds work. According to Piera Aulagnier, the most fundamental contribution of freudian theory is the function of the desire, both in the organization of the psychic subject, as in the social environment to which he belongs. Although they are two organizations governed by different principles and goals, they should be able to agree to that subject and world have to live together and exist for one another. The individual cannot give up his desire, the price being his psychic death, yet he must accept the limits of his achievements on behalf of the culture survival to which he claims recognition as one of its members. In this way, called by Castoriadis socialization of the psyche, the Oedipus complex which is universal, though cultural law prohibits the parricide and incestuous desire is central in the structuring of the psyche and thus in the orientation of human desire.
