O aluno com Síndrome de Asperger em sala de aula / The student with Asperger´s Syndrome in the classroom

RESUMO

Neste artigo se enfatizam características da síndrome de Asperger relevantes para a escolarização de alunos com essa condição. Discorre-se sobre o papel da escola no atendimento às necessidades educacionais especiais de alunos com essa síndrome, bem como são listadas orientações aos professores que tenham em sua sala de aula alunos com a síndrome de Asperger. Enfatiza-se tanto o papel da família quanto o vínculo família-escola para o sucesso da escolarização desses alunos.

ABSTRACT

Characteristics of Asperger’s syndrome relevant for the school inclusion of students with such condition are emphasized in this paper. The role of the school for attending the special educational needs of students with this syndrome is discussed, and orientations to teachers are listed. The role of the family and the importance of the family-school bond of union are emphasized for the success of the school inclusion of students with Asperger’s syndrome.
