RESUMO

A maxila atrófica anterior é um desafio na reabilitação estético-funcional em pacientes que perderam os dentes por traumatismos dentoalveolares, exodontias na infância, patologias e agenesias, resultando em deficiências horizontais e verticais, necessitando de regeneração óssea. O objetivo deste artigo foi relatar, em um caso clínico, a possibilidade de se utilizar o remanescente do nivelamento ósseo realizado na mandíbula em um enxerto de espessura na região de pré-maxila e posteriormente instalar dois implantes em um único estágio. Diminuindo assim o número de intervenções cirúrgicas

ABSTRACT

The atrophic maxilla is a challenge earlier in the functional aesthetic rehabilitation for patients who have lost teeth by: dento alveolar trauma, tooth extractions in childhood, disease and tooth agenesis, resulting in horizontal and vertical deficiencies, requiring bone regeneration. The objective of this paper is to report on a clinical case the possibility to use the remaining leveling performed in the jaw bone as a graft thickness in the region of the premaxilla and later install two implants in a single stage, thereby reducing the number of surgical interventions
