Frequentemente pais ou responsáveis não possuem repertórios necessários para promover comportamentos de estudo autônomos e eficazes em suas crianças. O presente estudo teve por objetivo executar e avaliar um programa de ensino, desenvolvido por meio de um processo de programação, aplicado a pais ou responsáveis de crianças com história de baixo desempenho escolar. Participaram da investigação três responsáveis de alunos, indicados por professores como apresentando dificuldades de aprendizagem. Foram coletadas medidas de pré-teste, treino e pós-teste por meio de entrevistas com responsáveis e alunos. Além das atividades realizadas nos oito encontros, os responsáveis receberam uma apostila com as informações mais relevantes; a cada duas sessões passaram por uma avaliação. Os resultados indicam que o programa pode ter promovido mudanças no repertório dos pais/responsáveis ao lidar com o estudo dos filhos e/ou na rotina diária de interação no ambiente familiar, principalmente para um dos três participantes.
ABSTRACT
Parents or guardians frequently do not have the necessary repertoires to promote effective self-study behavior on their children. This program had, as a goal, to carry out and assess an educational program for parents or guardians of children with a history of low school performance. Three guardians participated in the research. They were selected by teachers because their children presented learning difficulties. Measures of pre-test, training and post-test were collected through interviews with the guardians and children. In addition, activities were performed in eight meetings, the parents received a handout with the most relevant information; every two session they passed through an evaluation. The results indicate that the program may have promoted changes in the repertoire of parents/guardians to deal with the studies of children and/or on the daily interaction routine in the family environment, especially for one of the three participants:
