Representações sociais de violência e sua relação com qualidade de vida na perspectiva de mulheres / The social representations of women about violence and the relationship with quality of life

RESUMO

Este estudo teve como objetivo compreender as representações sociais das mulheres sobre violência e sua relação com qualidade de vida. Utilizaram-se, como referencial teórico-metodológico,a Teoria das Representações Sociais proposta por Moscovici e a Teoria doNúcleo Central elaborada por Jean-Claude Abric. Os dados foram coletados em duas etapas.Na primeira etapa, por meio da técnica de evocação livre, obtiveram-se as representações sociais frente aos termos indutores violência e qualidade de vida. Na segunda, foi realizada uma Oficina que aprofundou e complementou as representações encontradas na primeira etapa. A amostra foi de 100 mulheres participantes da primeira etapa e oito mulheres na segunda etapa, todas do município de Carmésia no Estado de Minas Gerais, cenário do estudo. As palavras evocadas por essas mulheres foram analisadas por meio de frequência simples; as estruturas obtidas por meio das evocações livres foram processadas pelo software Ensemble de Programmes Permettant I’Analyses des Evocations (EVOC) e analisadas pela técnica do Quadro de Quatro Casas, criado por Pierre Vergès; e os conteúdos explicativos das evocações das participantes da primeira etapa, bem como a Oficina, foram analisadas pela análise de conteúdo de Bardin. Na composição do perfil das mulheres, a maioria era casada,com filhos e estava na faixa etária entre 20 e 40 anos. A violência é gerada a partir do elemento falta, como aquele que faz surgir a violência expressa principalmente pela agressão,forma de expressão da violência mais visível. Outros elementos que desencadeiam o fenômeno, suas consequências e fatores que a contradizem completam essa representação. A representação de qualidade de vida inclui elementos que pressupõem subjetividade e também objetividade, como, por exemplo, amor, paz, trabalho e educação, sendo que a maioria desses elementos representa também uma maneira de oferecer proteção contra a violência na medida em que se constituem em elementos...

ABSTRACT

This study aims to understand the social representations of women about violence and therelationship with quality of life. It was used as a theoretical and methodological socialrepresentations theory proposed by Moscovici and Central Nucleus Theory elaborated byJean-Claude Abric. Data were collected from two stages. In the first stage, using the techniqueof free recall, we obtained the representations opposite the inductor terms violence and qualityof life. On the second stage, a workshop was held, which deepened and complemented therepresentations found in the first stage.
