Atendimento aos portadores de fissuras labiais e/ou palatais: características de um serviço / Characteristics of a treatment center to people with clefts lip and/or palatal

RESUMO

O estudo caracterizou a clientela atendida em um serviço interdisciplinar de atendimento aos portadores de fissura labial e/ou palatal numa cidade de porte médio, destacando o perfil sociodemográfico, o tipo de fissura, o histórico do atendimento e a situação psicossocial. O método adotado foi o documental sendo estudados 218 prontuários dos pacientes. Os resultados indicaram associação entre a presença de antecedentes familiares e gênero masculino. Conclui-se que tal caracterização qualifique as intervenções psicológicas inseridas nas equipes de saúde

ABSTRACT

The current study characterized one interdisciplinary treatment center of clefts lip and or palate, detaching the demographic profile, cleft type, the description of the attendance and the psychosocial situation. It was adopted the documentary method with 218 patients records. The results showed association between the presence of familiar antecedents and masculine gender as well as other details that contribute in the qualification of the actions of the involved health team
