The organization of a hospital to be able to receive simultaneosly a number of patients is under discussion. The importance of the previous training, the system of classifying the seriously injured patients is outlined, as also the responsability of the different organizations of the hospital. A protocol is suggested to evaluate an excercise of mass casualties with the object of maintainning an adequate training of the personnell
