RESUMO

Este trabalho é realizado com homens e mulheres envolvidos com violência intrafamiliar em Brasília. Após entrevista individual, essas pessoas são encaminhadas pelo Ministério Público ou pelos juizados para grupos em que mulheres e homens poderão ser atendidos separadamente ou em conjunto. Participam homens e mulheres, casados(as) e descasados(as) - com ou sem seus companheiros(as). Todos se dizem vítimas um do outro e apontam a agressão como estratégia de defesa e de educação dos filhos. No trabalho socioterapêutico com modelo sociodramático, preponderou a informação dos casais sobre sua união em pouco tempo de relacionamento e as fantasias individuais, não reveladas, como orientadoras da forma de comunicação que expressa a frustração mútua...

ABSTRACT

This work was developed with men and women involved in domestic violence in Brasilia. After being individually interviewed, these people are referred by the Department of Justice or judges to groups, where women and men can be treated separately or together. The groups can be attended by both women and men, whether they are married or single, together or without their partners. All of them consider themselves victims of the other gender, and consider violence to be a mechanism of defense and educational strategy for their children.
