A aprendizagem humana: cada pessoa com seu estilo / The human learning: each person with his/her style

RESUMO

O modo como as pessoas sentem e pensam os desafios, isto é, como manejam e buscam a solução, é diferente de uma para outra. Adotar determinada estratégia, optar por certo caminho e decidir entre uma ou outra alternativa evidencia um jeito próprio e singular de lidar com as informações. Como se dá a aprendizagem humana, compreender como as pessoas elaboram e processam as informações é uma das possibilidades de conhecer como ela aprende. Diferentes pressupostos teóricos podem explicar o fenômeno da aprendizagem humana, como a Teoria das Inteligências Múltiplas, a Teoria dos Estilos Cognitivos, bem como a Teoria dos Estilos de Aprendizagem. Com o objetivo de relacionar os conceitos de estilos cognitivos, de inteligências múltiplas e de estilos de aprendizagem com o modo de aprender das pessoas, buscamos na literatura a fundamentação que esclarecesse os conceitos citados.

ABSTRACT

How people feel and think of challenges, each person manages and searches for a solution in a personal way. Applying a strategy, choosing a specific way, deciding between two alternatives indicate a personal and unique approach to deal with information. How do human beings learn? Understanding how people elaborate and process information is one way of getting to know how a human being learns in both systems, formal and distance learning. Different theoretical assumptions, among others, may explain this phenomenon as the Theory of Multiple Intelligence, the Theory of Cognitive Styles and also the Theory of Learning Styles. Aiming at making the connection among the concepts cognitive styles, multiple intelligence and learning styles, we have searched in the literature the reasoning to clarify the concepts mentioned which could be the reason to review the teaching and learning processes.
