RESUMO

A tecnologia é sempre bem-vinda, pois constitui instrumento indispensável para contornar as limitações frente ao adoecer. Contudo, seu benefício será concreto se utilizada de forma racional, criteriosa, em prol do paciente e de forma ética e moral. Para tanto, as escolas médicas devem contribuir formando profissionais competentes, éticos, humanos e compromissados com as bases que norteiam o melhor exercício profissional.

ABSTRACT

Technology is always welcome for it is an essential instrument to circumvent limitations before sicken. However, its benefit will only be concrete if used in a rational, discerning way on behalf of the patient and morally and ethically. Hence, medical schools should contribute by graduating efficient, ethical, human, and engaged professionals with the basis that surround the best professional exercise.
