Perfil da violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher em um município de Minas Gerais, Brasil / Profile of domestic violence against women and family in a city of Minas Gerais, Brazil

RESUMO

Trata-se de um estudo de análise do Boletim de Ocorrência (BO), a fim de caracterizar a violência doméstica e familiar contra a mulher em um município de Minas Gerais no ano de 2011 para melhor estratégia de planejamento das ações no âmbito da saúde. Foram analisados 392 BOs dos 715 registrados no ano de 2011. Caracterizaram-se as vítimas e agressores de acordo com as informações oferecidas pelo BO. As vítimas apresentaram idade média de 33,28 anos, enquanto os agressores apresentaram idade média de 35,55 anos. O domingo foi o dia em que ocorreu maior número de casos de violência, e apenas 22,7% dos agressores estavam sob efeito de bebidas alcoólicas. Conclui-se que, ao se conhecer a violência do município, novas práticas sociais e ações de saúde serão estruturadas.

ABSTRACT

This is a study made from the analysis of Occurrence Bulletins (OB), to characterize the home and family violence against women in a city of Minas Gerais, Brazil, during the year 2011. The aim of this study was to make a strategic plan of actions in the scope of health. Thus, 392 OB were analyzed from the total of 715 registered in 2011. The victims and the attackers were characterized from information in the OB. The victims had an average age of 33.28 years and the attackers, an average age of 35.55 years. The majority of the OB was on Sundays and only 22.7% of the attackers were inebriated in the moment of the violence. We conclude that, knowing the violence in the city, new social practices and health actions are structured.
