to determine, based on the literature, the effectiveness of therapeutic ultrasound for high and low .and itsproper way to treat fracture healing. Methods:
A systematic review of scientific articles published in the period 1999 to2011 related to the subject indexed in databases Scielo and Lilacs. Final thoughts There are few literatures UST usedcontinuously in the treatment of bone healing. The beneficial effects are significant, especially at low intensity, whichminimizes the risk of tissue lesions and cavitations. Faced with questions still exist as to time, the dosimetry and themode of application of the U.S., it is suggested more research, because they vary greatly in the literature.
