Ética Médica y Economía de la Salud

RESUMEN

Se ofrece una panorámica donde se considera la incursión de los aspectos bioéticos en la creciente complejidad y perfeccionamiento de nuevos métodos de gestión sanitaria, en correspondencia con la vertiginosa aceleración del desarrollo científico-técnico y económico del mundo actual, pues constituye actualmente un reto para todos los países, introducir una cultura de eficiencia en este sentido. En la práctica médica, a menudo los principios éticos de beneficencia, no-maleficencia, decir la verdad al paciente, autonomía y justicia entran en conflicto y resolverlos resulta fundamental para la medicina y la administración de los servicios de salud, en lo cual está además involucrada la responsabilidad social.

ABSTRACT

A general view about the role of bioethical aspects in the growing complexity and perfection of new methods for the sanitary management, is presented, in correspondence with the enourmous acceleration of the economic and scientific technical development of the current world, because at present, the introduction of an efficiency culture in this sense, is a challenge for all the countries. In the medical practice, very often, the etnical principles of charity, non-maleficence, tell the truth to patients, autonomy and justice come into conflict, and the task of finding a solution for them is essential for medicine , and the health services administration where the social responsability is involved too.
