ABSTRACT

The act of photographing can be defined as writing with light. Thus the formed image will be entirely dependent on how it is lit. In Dentistry, the most important element as scene lighting is the flash. This may present variable power and direction of the light, in the sense of the subject being photographed. Understanding the impact of these differences over the effect observed in the picture is very important to obtain high-quality images with an interesting aspect. This article will discuss the proper use of flash in dental photography
