El trabajo como instrumento de resistencia a la opresión carcelaria / Work as a Resistance Instrument towards the Prisons Oppression

RESUMEN

Las perspectivas críticas dentro de la psicología del trabajo han sido menos desarrolladas que en otras ciencias sociales, especialmente en comparación a la sociología. En general, los análisis críticos de las evoluciones del mundo del trabajo son pertinentes, pero tienden a subestimar las fuerzas y los movimientos de resistencia a estas últimas. En este trabajo, se optó por un enfoque dialéctico, con el propósito de explorar las múltiples formas de resistencia partiendo de dos de sus fundamentos: la resistencia al sujeto y la resistencia a lo real. Con el objetivo de resaltar las dinámicas conflicti-vas que persisten en los contextos sociales más limitantes, se presenta una investigación sobre los usos y las funciones del trabajo dentro de la prisión.

ABSTRACT

Critical perspectives in work psychology are less developed than those undertaken in other social sciences, namely sociology. Such critical analysis of the working environment evolutions are both important and relevant. Yet, they can lead to underestimating the forces and resistance movements which aim at countering these evolutions. Therefore, we choose here a dialectical approach and propose to explore the polymorphic aspect of the resistance, insisting on two of its basis: the resistance of the subject (the person) and the resistance of the real. Lastly, in order to underline the conflictual dynamics which remain within the most constraining social settings, we shall present a research exploring the customs and functions of work in prison.
