RESUMEN
El porcentaje de cesáreas es un indicador de la calidad de la atención obstétrica, y en Chile este porcentaje ha ido en aumento la última década, por lo tanto es perentorio implementar estrategias para este objetivo, tarea no fácil por el carácter multifactorial de este fenómeno.
ABSTRACT
Cesarean rate is an indicator of the quality of Obstetric and Perinatal care. In Chile this rate has increased over the last decade, so it is imperative to implement strategies to this end, not an easy task because of the multifactorial nature of this phenomenon.
