Os Centros de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS): estruturação, interdisciplinaridade e intersetorialidade / The Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS): structuration, interdisciplinary and intersetoriality

RESUMO

A Política Nacional de Saúde Mental tem promovido a ampliação da rede de serviços substitutivos, como os Centros de Atenção Psicossocial (CAPS). Este estudo tem como objetivo conhecer a estrutura dos CAPS, a prática interdisciplinar de suas equipes e as suas articulações com as redes de serviço. Constatou-se a existência de 51 CAPS na Região Metropolitana de Porto Alegre. Foi elaborado um questionário online e participaram desse estudo 21 coordenadores ou técnicos. Os resultados apontam que há estrutura física e recursos humanos adequados para o atendimento proposto. A presença de equipe interdisciplinar é avaliada positivamente, assim como há parcerias com instituições de saúde e intersetoriais, por meio da realização de apoio matricial com a rede básica e algumas tentativas com a rede intersetorial. Com isso, evidencia-se que há iniciativas de um trabalho interdisciplinar e uma tentativa de um trabalho intersetorial, ainda que incipiente.

ABSTRACT

The National Mental Health Policy promotes the expansion of the substitute service's network such as Psychosocial Care Centers (CAPS). This study discusses the CAPS' structure, their interdisciplinary actions and their articulation with the service networks. From the finding of 51 CAPS in the Porto Alegre' Metropolitan Area, it was developed a online questionnaire and sent by email to the CAPS' professionals. 21 CAPS participated in this study. The results indicate that there is physical infrastructure and human resources needed for the proposed care. The interdisciplinary team is assessed positively, just as there are partnerships with health and intersectoral institutions through the realization of matricial support with primary health care's network and some attempts with the intersectoral network. Thus, we can conclude that there is an efficiently interdisciplinary work and there is an attempt of an intersectoral work, though incipient.
