Significados sobre sexualidade humana junto aos professores do ensino fundamental / Meanings about human sexuality with elementary school teachers

RESUMO

A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar o entendimento de professores do Ensino Fundamental sobre a temática sexualidade humana e sexo. A metodologia utilizada foi à pesquisa qualitativa de cunho humanista, mediatizada da pesquisa-ação. A coleta de dados realizou-se por meio da observação participante na rotina escolar e, posteriormente por meio de um questionário com questões norteadoras sobre a temática em apreço. A análise possibilitou perceber que a sexualidade e o sexo são compreendidos pelos professores de forma restrita, relacionando-a ao comportamento das pessoas, ao prazer, ao cuidado com o corpo e a reprodução reforçando a visão biológica. Foi possível por meio das análises das respostas e da ação-educativa, observar que o desenvolvimento de um projeto de educação/orientação sexual na escola é fundamental, para que possa auxiliar os membros da comunidade escolar a rever seus próprios posicionamentos relacionados à sexualidade, ao sexo e as identidades sexual e de gênero de forma naturalizada.

ABSTRACT

The present research aimed to investigate the understanding of Elementary School teachers about the human sexuality and sex in a general overview. The methodology used was the qualitative research with humanistic character, mediated by action research. The data collection was made through the participant observation of the school routine and, after, by means of a questionnaire led by the discussed theme. The analysis enabled noticing that the sexuality and sex are understood by teachers in a restrict form, related them to the people?s behavior, to the pleasure, body care and reproduction, strengthen the biological view. So, it was possible, through the analysis of the answers and the educative-action, to understand that the development of an education/orientation project at school is crucial to help the members of the school community to review their own position on sexuality, sex and sexual and genres identities in a natural way.
