RESUMO
A disseminação da aids representa processo dinâmico, que incide sob grupos populacionais mais vulneráveis, envolvendo uma rede de determinantes biopsicossociais, comportamentais e ambientais. Teve-se como objetivo geral analisar a distribuição espacial dos casos notificados de crianças com aids e de gestantes soropositivas ao HIV residentes no município de Recife e sua correlação com indicadores sociais e de saúde. Trata-se de estudo epidemiológico, do tipo ecológico, realizado com dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação, Sistema de Informação sobre Nascidos Vivos e Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade, de 2001 a 2011. Dados sociais por bairros foram captados do Censo Demográfico de 2010. Construíram-se indicadores epidemiológicos, socioeconômicos e de saúde para caracterizar os bairros e sua relação com o adoecimento pelo HIV. Os endereços foram georreferenciados e compatibilizados com base cartográfica de Recife. Características epidemiológicas foram analisadas por meio da estatística descritiva e para os dados das gestantes aplicou-se o teste qui-quadrado com resíduos ajustados, usando o programa SPSS...
ABSTRACT
The spread of AIDS is a dynamic process, which focuses on the most vulnerable populations,involving a network of biopsychosocial, behavioraland environmental factors. This studyaimed at analyzing the spatial distribution of reported cases of children with AIDS andpositiveHIV pregnant women residing in the city ofRecife and its correlation with social andhealth indicators. This is an epidemiological study, ecological-type , conducted with data fromthe Information System on Notifiable Diseases, Information System on Live Births andMortality Information System from 2001-2011. Socialdata were collected from theneighborhoods by census 2010. Epidemiological, socioeconomic and healthindicators wereconstructed in order to characterize the neighborhoods and its relationship with the HIVdisease. The addresses were geocoded and matched with the base map of Recife.Epidemiological characteristics were analyzed usingdescriptive statistics, and for thepregnant data was applied the chi-square test withadjusted residuals using the SPSS.Toidentify the spatial pattern, data were analyzed bythe Moran Global and Local Index, and themapping techniques BoxMap, LISAMap and MoranMap generated by the software Terraviewv4.2.2 and space modules R v2.15.3.
