RESUMO

Este trabalho parte da “análise estrutural do mito” e do conceito de “eficácia simbólica” - ambos estabelecidos por Lévi-Strauss – para interrogar, em um segundo momento, se o mito não poderia ser considerado também a forma privilegiada da enunciação de um “mais-além” da eficácia simbólica. Para isso, os autores recorrem à discussão do que implica a formulação, por Lacan, do matema S(Ⱥ), fundamental a uma noção de estrutura que comporte o sujeito e a noção de que o mito, para-além de sua eficácia simbólica, carrega consigo a marca de um impossível

ABSTRACT

This work starts with the "structural analysis of myth" and the concept of "symbolic efficiency" - both established by Lévi-Strauss - to interrogate, secondly, if the myth could not be regarded also as a privileged form of the statement "beyond the symbolic efficacy”. In order to do this, we must use the discussion of the implications of the formulation of the matheme S (Ⱥ), by Lacan, as a fundamental concept of structure that can contemplate the subject and the understanding that the myth, beyond its symbolic efficacy carries the mark of an impossibiity

Ce travail part de l’ ®analyse structurale des mythes¼ et du concept d’ ®l'efficacité symbolique¼ - tous les deux établis par Lévi-Strauss – pour interroger, d'autre part, si le mythe ne pourrait pas être également considéré comme la forme privilégiée de l'énonciation d'un au-delà de l'efficacité symbolique. Pour cela, nous avons recours à la discussion sur ce qu’ implique la formulation par Lacan, du mathème S (Ⱥ), fondement d’une notion de structure qui puisse comporter le sujet et l'idée que le mythe au-delà de son efficacité symbolique, porte la marque d'un impossible
