Saúde suplementar no Brasil: revisão crítica da literatura de 2000 a 2010 / Supplementary health in Brazil: critical review of the literature from 2000 to 2010

RESUMO

Este artigo se propõe a realizar uma revisão crítica sobre saúde suplementar no Brasil, entre os anos 2000 e 2010, a partir da SciELO e do Banco de Teses da CAPES/CNPq. Foram selecionados 301 textos para análise, com base em matriz, com os seguintes elementos ano de publicação, vinculação institucional do autor, localização da instituição e campo disciplinar referido. O conteúdo foi analisado com base nos resumos dos textos. Os resultados indicam ter havido um aumento contínuo da produção sobre saúde suplementar no período pesquisado. O conteúdo dos resumos sugere a naturalização da visão que toma a atual conformação do esquema de comércio de planos de saúde como algo dado e não como fenômeno histórico.

ABSTRACT

This article attempts to perform a critical review on supplementary health in Brazil, between the years of 2000 and 2010, from the SciELO and the CAPES/CNPq's Bank of Theses. Were selected 301 texts for analysis, based on matrix, with the following elements year of publication, the author's institutional linkage, the institution's location and the reffered disciplinary field. The content was analyzed based on the summaries of the texts. The results suggest a continued increase of the production on supplementary health in the period researched. The content of the summaries suggests the naturalization of vision wich takes the current conformation of the trading scheme of health plans as something given and not as a historical phenomenon.
