El caso de "El Mocito", reflexiones psicoanalíticas a propósito de la complejidad del mal / The case of \"The Mocito\" psychoanalytic reflections on the complexity of evil

RESUMEN

A través del presente artículo, los autores establecen un diálogo entre disciplinas como el periodismo, la filosofía y el psicoanálisis. En el análisis del caso se postula una fantasía inconsciente temida y que, en ciertas condiciones, se toma contacto con objetos internos muertos que generan angustias que deben ser evitadas a toda costa, explorándose así el sometimiento a una autoridad tiránica como salida a estas profundas angustias. Como un intento de comprensión de tal funcionamiento mental, se analiza el concepto de Hannah Arendt de la banalidad del mal, proponiendo que el no pensamiento salva de estas emociones catastróficas ya vividas en la traumática infancia

ABSTRACT

Through the present paper, the authors established an interdisciplinary dialogue between fields such as journalism, philosophy and psychoanalysis. The case analysis propose the existence of a feared unconscious phantasy in which, due to certain conditions, the individual needs to avoid deep anxieties generated by the contact with dead internal objects, thus exploring the submission to an authority of tyrannical characteristics as a way to escape this anxieties. Hannah Arendt`s concept of the banality of evil is presented and analyzed as a way of understanding this type of mental functioning, permitting the authors to put forward the notion that no-thinking allows the avoidance of catastrophic emotions already experienced in traumatic infancy
