ABSTRACT
Computerized tomography (CT) combined with computer programs to orthodontists brought a great tool for diagnosis and confirmation of orthodontic planning. We can combine the benefits of rapid maxillary expansion (RME) to CT, using them as a means of comparison, overlay, among others. The purpose of this paper is to compare the nasal air volume before and after ERM, by CT in a case selected in the Mouth Breather Center (UNIFESP). The result was a significant increase in the region studied.
