Melanoma Malign de glándula submaxilar. reporte de nn caso / Malignant melanoma of submaxillary gland. A case report

RESUMEN

Se realizó valoración de un paciente intervenido quirúrgicamente hace 15 años, en el servicio de tumores periféricos del Hospital Oncológico de Camagüey, de 58 años de edad, masculino, raza blanca, trabajador agrícola con antecedentes de salud, por presentar enfermedad tumoral de glándula salival mayor, la que se diagnóstica clínicamente como una neoplasia maligna de glándula submaxilar derecha con metástasis cervical, por lo que se planifica en la conducta a seguir, exéresis quirúrgica de la glándula con disección radical del hemicuello homolateral, tres semanas posterior a su inscripción en el centro. La biopsia del tumor primario diagnosticó un melanoma maligno con metástasis en ganglio cervical. Se le administró tratamiento con quimioterapia, dacarbacina y cisplatino, de acuerdo a esquema planificado, posterior a la intervención quirúrgica. La evolución clínica durante todo el tiempo transcurrido hasta el presente y sobrevida de 15 años, demostró que la conducta seguida fue la correcta pues se utilizaron todos los recursos disponibles.

ABSTRACT

An appraisal of a surgically intervened patient was carried out 15 years ago, at the peripheral tumors service of the Oncology Hospital of Camagüey, 58-years-old, male, white race, agricultural worker with health antecedents, by presenting tumor illness of major salivary gland, the one is clinically diagnosed as a malignant neoplasia of right submaxillary gland with cervical metastasis, for which is planned in the conduct to be follow, surgical exeresis of the gland with radical dissection of the homolateral hemineck, three weeks after his inscription in the center. The biopsy of the primary tumor diagnosed a malignant melanoma with metastasis in cervical ganglion. It was administered him chemotherapy treatment, dacarbazine and cisplatin, according to the planned scheme, after the surgical intervention. The clinical evolution during all the elapsed time until the present and survival of 15 years, showed that followed conduct was the correct one therefore all the available resources were utilized.
