Conocimientos y actitud de las madres acerca del método madre canguro en el Servicio de Intermedios Neonatal en el Hospital Alberto Sabogal 2012 / Knowledge and attitude of mothers about the Kangaroo-Mother Care Method in the Service of Neonatal Intermediate at the Hospital Alberto Sabogal 2012

RESUMEN

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los conocimientos y actitudes de las madres acerca del método madre canguro en el Servicio de Intermedios Neonatal en el Hospital Alberto Sabogal 2012. Material y Método: El estudio es de nivel aplicativo, tipo cuantitativo, método descriptivo de corte transversal. La población estuvo conformada por 30 madres de los neonatos hospitalizados en el servicio de intermedio A y B del hospital Alberto sabogal. La técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento el cuestionario y la escala modificada tipo Likert, el cual fue aplicado previo el consentimiento informado. Resultados: Del 100 por ciento (30), 80 por ciento (24) no conocen acerca del método mama canguro y 20 por ciento (6) conocen. En cuanto a la actitud 57 por ciento (17) muestra indiferencia, 23 por ciento (7) aceptación y 20 por ciento (6) rechazo. Conclusiones: La mayoría de las madres no conocen sobre el método madre canguro. En cuanto a las dimensiones de lactancia materna, termorregulación y amor, la de lactancia materna es la que menos conocen, y un porcentaje considerable de las madres muestran una actitud de indiferencia y rechazo frente al ítems termorregulación y sobre todo al desarrollo afectivo seguida por la técnica y el tiempo del desarrollo del método madre canguro...

ABSTRACT

The present study was, objective: determine the knowledge and attitudes of mothers about method mother kangaroo in the Neonatal Intermediate Service Alberto Sabogal Hospital in 2012. Material and Method: The study is level application, quantitative, cross-sectional method. The population consisted of 30 mothers of hospitalized infants and B hospital in Alberto Sabogal intermediate a service. The technique was the survey instrument and the questionnaire and the modified Likert scale, which was applied for prior informed consent instrument application. Administrative Procedures He studied to implement administrative procedures will be made through an official letter sent to the address of the institution in order to obtain the appropriate authorization, and also take into account the resources, the schedule of activities and budget.
