Intergeracionalidade e educação: a perpetuação de práticas educativas maternas / Intergenerationality and education: the perpetuation of maternal educational practices

RESUMO

As práticas educativas parentais são alvo de estudos desde o início do século XX, tendo em vista a importância das relações estabelecidas no núcleo familiar e a influência parental no comportamento dos filhos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo investigar a transmissão das práticas educativas maternas entre as gerações e a influência de fatores como a escolaridade materna, a qualidade de interação materna e a configuração familiar na transmissão dessas práticas. Para isso, utilizou-se o Inventário de Estilos Parentais (IEP) desenvolvido por Gomide (2006) e as Escalas de Qualidade de Interação Familiar (EQIF) de Weber e colaboradores (2006). Participaram deste estudo 31 adolescentes do sexo feminino e suas respectivas mães. ABSTRACT

The parenting practices are the focus of studies since the early twentieth century, in view of the importance of established relationships within the family and parental influence on the behavior of children. This work aimed to investigate the transmission of childrearing practices between generations and the influence of factors such as maternal education, the quality of maternal and family configuration interaction in the transmission of these practices. For this, we used the Parental Styles Inventory (PSI) developed by Gomide (2006) and Scales Quality of Family Interaction (SQFI) Weber et al. (2006).
