Cuidado intersubjetivo de enfermería a padres de una niña en inminencia de muerte / Inter-subjetive nursing care to parents of a child in imminence of death

RESUMEN

Introducción: El cuidado intersubjetivo de enfermería es eje central del desempeño profesional y la investigación en el tema ha sido escasa, motivo por el cual se plantea el presente estudio con el objetivo de conceptualizar este cuidado a través de la relación enfermera-padres en el contexto de inminencia de muerte de una niña. Los resultados derivados de esta investigación permiten describir el fenómeno y arraigar el horizonte disciplinar. Materiales y Métodos: El abordaje utilizado para su realización fue cualitativo, fenomenológico, mediante un estudio de caso en donde se analizaron las narraciones de sus experiencias al ofrecer y recibir cuidado respectivamente el día del fallecimiento de la niña, en el ambiente de una unidad de cuidado intensivo pediátrico. Resultados y Discusión: Se establecieron los siguientes conceptos dentro del marco del cuidado intersubjetivo El vínculo, interpretación del lenguaje corporal, establecimiento de prioridades, interferencias y administración del cuidado; en sí mismos representan un mundo en el cual muchos profesionales se pueden sentir identificados. Conclusiones: Los resultados de esta investigación permiten la autorreflexión acerca de la importancia de reconocer y retomar la dimensión subjetiva de si y del otro donde los conceptos contribuyen al desarrollo disciplinar y consolidación de la esencia de la profesión.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: Inter-subjective nursing care is the backbone of professional performance and the research in the field has been limited and that is the reason why the present study is proposed with the objective of conceptualizing this sort of attention through the relation nurse-parents in the context of imminent death of a child. The results derived from this investigation allow the description of the phenomenon and the establishment of the horizon of the discipline. Materials and Methods: The approach used for the development of the research was qualitative, phenomenological, through a case of study where their experiences in providing and receiving care respectively on the day of the girl’s death were analyzed in the pediatric intensive care unit environment. Results and Discussion: The following concepts, within the framework of inter-subjective care were established The relation, body language interpretation, priorities setting, interferences and caring management, themselves represent a world in which many professionals may feel identified. Conclusions: The results of this research allow self-reflection about the importance of recognizing and resuming the subjective dimension from oneself and the other where concepts contribute to the disciplinary development and the consolidation of the profession quintessence.
