El cuidado de enfermería comprometido: Motor en la satisfacción de la gestante durante el control prenatal / Committed nursing care: Engine satisfaction of pregnant women during prenatal care

RESUMEN

Introducción: Control prenatal se refiere a las consultas programadas con la gestante y los integrantes del grupo de salud para vigilar la evolución del embarazo y prepararla para el parto y la crianza. La teoría del cuidado humano de Watson y las premisas de calidad en la atención en salud y sus componentes de la calidad asistencial de Avedis Donobedian fueron los referentes teóricos en la presente investigación. Objetivo: Describir la percepción acerca de la satisfacción expresada por las gestantes en relación con el cuidado de enfermería, recibido durante el control prenatal realizado en un hospital de segundo nivel de atención. Materiales y métodos: Se utilizó la fenomenología interpretativa y como técnica de recolección de la información se empleó la entrevista a profundidad; la muestra se determinó por saturación de la información; se entrevistaron siete gestantes clasificadas de bajo riesgo obstétrico que asistían regularmente a control prenatal. A cada una se le realizaron dos entrevistas las cuales fueron transcritas por las investigadoras. Resultados: Se identificaron dos temas: "el cuidado de enfermería comprometido como generador de sentimientos de aceptación en el control prenatal" y "la gestante protagonista de su cuidado desea una interacción con la enfermera aún más profunda". Fue posible determinar que la gestante se sintió apoyada y acogida por parte del profesional, que les permitió crecer como seres humanos. Conclusiones: En la consulta prenatal, la educación fortalece sentimientos en la gestante de aceptación e identidad en el rol de la maternidad, despertando un vínculo de amor y responsabilidad por el desarrollo del nuevo ser.

ABSTRACT

Introduction: The prenatal care refers to the scheduled visits with the mother and the health team members to monitor the evolution of pregnancy and prepare for childbirth and parenting. The theory of human caring of Watson and the assumptions of quality in health care and quality of care components of Avedis Donobedian were the theoretical framework in this investigation. Objective: To describe the perception of the satisfaction expressed by the pregnant women in relation to nursing care received during prenatal care made on a secondary hospital care. Materials and methods: Interpretive phenomenology was used and depth interviews were applied as the technique for data collection. The sample was determined by saturation of information; seven pregnant classified low obstetric risk who regularly attended prenatal care were interviewed. Two interviews were performed to each woman, which were transcribed by the researchers. Results: Two themes were identified: "Nursing care engaged in generating feelings of acceptance in prenatal care" and "the pregnant protagonist of her own care wants a deeper interaction with the nurse". It was possible to determine that the mother felt supported and welcomed by the professional, which allowed them to grow as human beings. Conclusions: In prenatal care, education strengthens feelings of acceptance and identity in the role of motherhood, raising a bond of love and responsibility for the development of the new being.
