Vivências e aprendizagens do paciente idoso na rotina da hemodiálise / Experiences and learnings of the elderly patients in the hemodialisis routine

RESUMO

O presente artigo é resultado de estudo realizado com objetivo de compreender a vivência do idoso submetido ao tratamento em hemodiálise, identificando a aquisição de novas aprendizagens no decorrer deste processo. Foram realizadas entrevistas com 08 pacientes idosos submetidos ao tratamento em um hospital da rede privada do município de Teresina-PI. Os resultados mostram que as mudanças de hábitos da rotina diária impõem inúmeros desafios a serem enfrentados. Concomitantemente observou-se o desencadeamento da aquisição de novos conhecimentos indispensáveis para viver essa realidade, o que propicia a composição de novas visões de mundo pelos idosos submetidos ao tratamento de hemodiálise...

ABSTRACT

The present study results from the observation of the experience of elderly patients that were submitted to hemodialysis treatment, trying to find out their new learning during the period of treatment. The interviews were conducted with 08 elderly patients who took the treatment in a private hospital in the city of Teresina-PI. The results showed us that their changes of habits in daily routine may become a challenge for them. At the same time, those elderly patients acquired new knowledge resulting a new vision of the world...
