RESUMO

Este estudo teve por objetivo descrever a utilização de uma metodologia ativa sobre humanização do cuidado em uma atividade de educação permanente em duas Unidades de Terapia Intensiva adulto de um hospital universitário público. A ação educativa utilizada baseou-se em uma metodologia pedagógica problematizadora tendo como base o arco de Charles Marguerez. Este é composto por cinco etapas observação da realidade, pontos-chave, teorização, hipóteses de solução e aplicação à realidade. Na fase um abordou-se o descuido com a privacidade dos clientes internados; na fase dois o ponto-chave levantado foi a humanização prejudicada durante a assistência ao cliente; na fase três a teorização discorreu sobre a necessidade de cuidado com o indivíduo em seus aspectos biopsicossociais e espirituais; na fase quatro viu-se a necessidade de abordar junto à equipe de enfermagem e auxiliares operacionais onze ações e/ou cuidados considerados parte de uma atitude humanizada e, na fase cinco, aplicou-se à realidade os conceitos levantados por meio de um método pedagógico ativo. A metodologia reflexiva aplicada na fase cinco ocorreu em quatro momentos depoimentos de pacientes deste tipo unidade, reflexão sobre práticas de humanização na atuação profissional, ?Humanização nós abraçamos esta ideia? e empatia. O foco principal desta educação permanente foi a reflexão e conscientização dos profissionais sobre uma prática humanizada, tendo como cerne a empatia. Isto foi possível mediante do uso de uma metodologia ativa problematizadora. Além disso, pode-se ver a aplicabilidade da dinâmica no cotidiano de trabalho de uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva e, possibilidade de reprodução deste trabalho em outras instituições.

ABSTRACT

This study aims to describe the use of an active methodology on the humanization of health care in a permanent educational activity in two adult Intensive Care Units in a public university hospital. The educational activity used was based on a problem-based pedagogical method using the Marguerez arch as its basis. This activity consists of five steps: observation of reality, key points, theorizing, possible solutions and application to reality. In the first phase, the lack of care with the privacy of hospitalized clients was addressed; in phase two, the key point raised was the humanization harmed during nursing care to the client; in phase three, a theory was developed about the need to care for the individual in biological-psycho-social and spiritual aspects; phase four encompassed the need to approach the eleven actions and/or care considered part of a humanized attitude with the nursing staff and operation assistants; and in the phase five, the concepts raised were applied to reality using an active teaching method. The reflexive methodology applied in phase five occurred in four moments interviews of patients in the unit, reflection about humanization practices in the professional conduct, "Humanization we embrace this idea", and empathy. The focus of this permanent education was the reflection and awareness of professionals about a humane practice, taking empathy as pillar. This was possible by using an active problem-based methodology. Moreover, the applicability of the dynamics can be seen in the daily work of an Intensive Care Unit and the possibility of reproduction of this work in other institutions
