Comportamiento de la reanimación cardiopulmonar en pacientes con paro cardiorrespiratorio / Behavior of the cardiopulmonar reanimation in cardiorespiratory paro patients

RESUMEN

Objetivo: describir la reanimación cardiopulmonar en pacientes con diagnóstico de paro cardiorrespiratorio atendidos en los servicios de urgencias médicas del Hospital Mártires de Mayarí en el año 2013. Material y métodos: se realizó un estudio retrospectivo descriptivo. El universo estuvo constituido por 74 pacientes que fueron atendidos con esta complicación, a quienes se les aplicó el proceso de intervención de enfermería. La muestra no probabilística fue de 21 pacientes reanimados. Resultados: el tiempo de inicio en la reanimación del paciente fue antes de los 10 min, se efectuaron 21 reanimaciones, la aplicación del protocolo de reanimación es de un 100% según los criterios de este, la arritmia que más predominó fue la fibrilación ventricular, que es una de las causas más frecuentes del paro en el paciente adulto. En total, se efectuaron 172 procederes de enfermería. Conclusiones: la participación activa de enfermería con estrategias interventivas es de eficacia como parte del tratamiento. Todos los pacientes se atendieron antes de los 10 min. El mayor porcentaje de las reanimaciones resultó efectiva. A todos los pacientes se les realizaron procederes de enfermería. Los familiares estuvieron satisfechos con la atención de enfermería brindada a sus pacientes.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To describe the cardiopulmonary resuscitation in patients diagnosed with cardiac arrest treated in the emergency medical services Mayari Martyrs Hospital in 2013. Material and methods: Retrospective descriptive study. The study group consisted of 74 patiens who were treated with this complication; we applied to the process of nursing intervention. The nonrandom sample of 21 patients was resuscitated. Results: The starting time in the resuscitation of the patient was within 10 min, 21 resuscitations were made, the application of resuscitation protocol is 100% according to the criteria of this, and the most predominant arrhythmia was ventricular fibrillation, which is one of the most frequent causes of failure in the adult patient. In total, 172 nursing procedures were performed. Conclusions: The active participation of nursing interventional strategies are affective as treatment. All patients were treated within 10 min. The highest percentage of resuscitations was effective. All patients were performed nursing procedures. Relatives were satisfied with the nursing care provided to their patients.
