Assistência domiciliar de saúde: desafios no atendimento aos usuários do SUS que residem em área de violência urbana / Home health care: challenges in meeting the PHS users who live in areas of urban violence

RESUMO

Esta pesquisa tem como objeto a realização da visita domiciliar de saúde por profissionais ligados a hospitais federais no Rio de Janeiro, a pacientes que residem em localidades com violência urbana. A violência na atualidade se tornou um problema de saúde pública e é necessário criar estratégias de acessibilidade aos serviços oferecidos pelo SUS para os pacientes que residem em áreas de violência. A questão que norteou o estudo foi De que forma os serviços de saúde hospitalar se organizam para garantir a assistência domiciliar em saúde de quem reside em área de violência urbana? Constitui objetivo geral do estudoDiscutir as estratégias utilizadas pelos serviços de atenção domiciliar para garantir a assistência de saúde aos pacientes que residem em área de violência urbana. Os objetivos específicos foram 1) Elencar as estratégias utilizadas pelos serviços de atenção domiciliar para garantir a assistência dos pacientes que residem em área de violência urbana; 2)Comparar as estratégias utilizadas pelos serviços selecionados; e 3) Identificar, com base nas experiências dos serviços analisados, as estratégias com possibilidades de aplicação na UDOMI. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo de campo acerca das ações dos gestores dos serviços de atenção domiciliar dos hospitais federais do Rio de Janeiro para garantir o atendimento de pacientes elegíveis ao serviço de atenção domiciliar que residem em área de violência urbana. Os dados foram obtidos por meio de entrevista dirigida a quatro gestores de quatro hospitais federais situados no município do Rio de Janeiro.

ABSTRACT

The object of this research is the accomplishment of health home visits by professionals, linked to federal hospitals in Rio de Janeiro, to patients living in places with urban violence. Currently, violence has become a public health problem and it is necessary to create accessibility strategies to the services of fered by SUS for patients living in violent areas. The question that guided the study was How do the hospital health services are organized to ensure the home health care for those who live in violent urban areas? The general objective of the study is To discuss the strategies used by home care services to ensure health care for patients who live in violent urban areas. The specific objectives were 1) To list the strategies used by home care services to ensure the care of patients who live in violent urban areas; 2)To compare the strategies used by the selected services; 3) To identify, based on the experiences of the analyzed services, the strategies with application possibilities in UDOMI. This is a descriptive field study on the actions of managers of home care services of the federal hospitals of Rio de Janeiro to ensure the care of patients living in violent urban areas and that are able to the receive home care service. Data were obtained by means of interview stargeted to four managers of four federal hospitals situated in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro. The results were analyzed from the interviews and interpreted in the light of the bibliographic references pertaining to the subject of study.
