Os autores apresentam 35 pacientes (27 joelhos) portadores de prega sinovial sintomática com idade entre 11 e 16 anos, diagnosticados e tratados por via artroscópica. Abordam os elementos para o diagnóstico clínico e enfatizam a importância dessa entidade no diagnóstico diferencial das patologias do joelho nos adolescentes
