O ciúme e as redes sociais: uma revisão sistemática / The jealousy and the social networks: a systematic review

RESUMO

As redes sociais e as relações interpessoais mediadas pela internet estão cada vez mais presentes no nosso cotidiano. Diante de tamanha adesão de nossa população às redes sociais, chegamos a não mais imaginar a nossa vida sem elas. Paralelamente a essa situação, o ciúme romântico, que é um processo cognitivo ativado frente a uma ameaça real ou imaginária da perda de um relacionamento ou de parceiro (a) estimado (a) é uma situação com a qual provavelmente nos depararemos, em maior ou menor grau, em algum momento de nossas vidas. Este artigo tem como objetivo revisar a literatura que discorre sobre essa relação entre esses dois fenômenos e discorrer como as vivências na internet podem trazer implicações negativas para os relacionamentos amorosos e como os comportamentos na rede podem servir de estímulo para desentendimentos entre os casais.(AU)

ABSTRACT

The social networks and interpersonal relationships mediated for Internet are increasingly present in everyday life. Faced with such accession of our population to social networks, we can not imagine our lives without them. Alongside this, the romantic jealousy, which is activated against a real or imagined threat of the loss of a relationship or the loss of partnership, is a situation that probably we will face a greater or lesser degree in some moment of our lives. This article aims to review the literature that discusses the relationship between these two phenomena and discuss how the experiences on the internet can have negative implications for romantic relationships and how behaviors in the network can serve as a stimulus for the disagreements between couples.(AU)
