Desvendando imagens: sonhos de um sujeito cego / Unraveling images: dreams of a blind subject

RESUMO

O estudo dos sonhos é um dos temas clássicos da Psicologia, sendo sempre tema de diversas teorias que versam sobre a psique humana. Nesta pesquisa, trabalhamos com a Logoteoria de Viktor Frankl que, em sua ontologia, incluiu, além das dimensões biológicas e psíquicas, a dimensão espiritual. Nesta perspectiva, os sonhos não contêm apenas manifestações inconscientes,mas também expressões da voz da própria consciência. De natureza qualitativa, este estudo teve como corpus relatos de sonhos de um portador de deficiência visual, por meio do qual se fez um estudo de caso simples, segundo Robert Yin (2003). Como coleta de dados optou-se pelo diálogo socrático, técnica que faz emergir detalhes dos episódios oníricos. Privilegiamos nesta análise as categorias sentimentos, símbolos e atitudes do sujeito, representados na diegese onírica. Em relação à simbologia, comprovamos a existência dos símbolos nuvens, avião e a pipa (o jogo), representando a dualidade ascensão/queda e a autotranscendência. Sobre os sentimentos, constatamos a presença da angústia, manifestação primária da condição humana,e a tranquilidade, como sobressalto da consciência frente às dificuldades inerentes à existência humana. No que tange às atitudes, estas confirmaram a liberdade de escolha e responsabilidade pelo próprio destino do sonhador. Assim, pôde ser apresentado um modelo de leitura dos sonhos de um sujeito cego, proporcionando uma nova compreensão do imaginário onírico por meio do qual, não se destacando as imagens icônicas comumente verificadas em sonhos de videntes, sobressaíram imagens mentais e a voz da consciência.

ABSTRACT

The study of dreams is one of the classic themes of the Psychology, and it is always the theme of several theories about the human psyche. In this research, we worked with the Logotheory of Viktor Frankl that included in its ontology, besides the biological and psychic dimensions, the spiritual dimension. In this perspective, the dreams do not just contain unconscious manifestations, but also expressions of the voice of the own conscience. This study of qualitative nature had as corpus reports of dreams of a bearer of visual deficiency, through which it was made a study of simple case, according to Robert Yin (2003). We chose to use the Socratic dialogue as data collection, a technique that makes details of the dreamlike episodes emerge. In this analysis we privileged the categories feelings, symbols and attitudes of the subject, represented in the dreamlike diegesis. Regarding the simbology, we proved the existence of the symbols clouds, airplane and the kite (the game), representing the duality rise/fall and the self-transcendence. On the feelings, we verified the presence of anguish, primary manifestation of the human condition, and peacefulness, as an upsurge of the consciousness facing the inherent difficulties to the human existence. Regarding the attitudes, these confirmed the freedom of choice and responsibility of the dreamer for his own destiny. A model of reading of dreams of a blind subject could be presented, providing a new understanding of the imaginary dreamlike through which, the iconic images were not highlighted, as it is commonly verified in dreams of seers, however, mental images and the voice of the consciousness were.
