Análise semântica da violência na velhice soba perspectiva de estudantes de ensino médio / Semantic analysis of violence in old age from the perspective of high school students

RESUMO

A violência contra a pessoa idosa é um tema de destaque nas pautas de investigações científicas, pela sua recorrência e importância da compreensão do fenômeno. Nesse sentido, o presente estudo objetivou identificar e comparar as representações sociais da violência contra idosos de estudantes da rede pública e privada da cidade de Parnaíba (PI). Para tanto, aplicou-se uma entrevista semi-estruturada. As representações foram similares e ancoradas de uma forma geral em ideias de indignação em torno da violência contra idosos e na importância de campanhas preventivas.

ABSTRACT

The violence against elder falls within the guidelines of scientific research, given the magnitude of the problem and the importance of understanding the phenomenon. Therefore, this study aimed to identify and compare the social representations of violence against the elderly of student public and private city Parnaíba (PI). It was observed that the representations of social actors were anchored on the need for information about the aging and their implications for the phenomenon of violence against the elderly in order to emphasize measures to prevent conduct in relation to this act process.
