RESUMO
O presente artigo revisou as principais perspectivas teóricas que fundamentam as iniciativas de educação permanente enquanto potenciais fontes de convívio social e bem-estar na velhice. Partindo dos construtos de Bem-Estar Subjetivo (BES) e Bem-Estar Psicológico (BEP), analisaram-se as possíveis relações causais entre o conviver e o aprender na velhice sobre esses indicadores.
ABSTRACT
This paper reviews the major theoretical perspectives that support the initiatives of continuing education as potential sources of social interaction and wellbeing in old age. Based on the constructs of Subjective Well-Being (SWB) and Psychological Well-Being (BEP), were analyzed the possible causal relationships between the living and learning in old age on these indicators.
